What is Futoshiki?

Futoshiki is a logic puzzle game originated from Japan. The objective is to fill all the cells with numbers. Some cells are pre-filled, while the player fills the rest. It shares similarities with Sudoku, but there is a key difference. In addition to numbers, there are also signs (greater than, less than) on the playing field. The sign between two cells indicates that one number should be greater than the other. A correctly filled grid must satisfy three conditions:

1. The numbers in each row must be unique.
2. The numbers in each column must be unique.
3. If there are signs (arrows) on the grid, the condition indicated by the arrows must be met (i.e., one number is smaller than the other).

Levels:

The program offers six difficulty levels that vary in size: 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7, 8x8, and 9x9. The larger the grid size, the more challenging the game becomes. For beginners, it is recommended to start with a 4x4 grid. Each level of complexity presents a collection of 2000 unique game levels, with higher level numbers indicating greater difficulty. (Level 2000 being the most complex).

How to play?

To change the value of a cell, select it and then click on the numbers at the bottom of the screen to input a number. Multiple numbers can be inputted in one cell, but the level is considered passed only when each cell contains a single number. To remove a number from a cell, select it and click on the corresponding number at the bottom of the screen.
